What tracking options are available? (Manual Vehicle Sharing)

At DRIP, vehicle visibility can be achieved using two different methods: Manual Vehicle Sharing and Order-Based Tracking.

Manual Vehicle Sharing:

With Manual Vehicle Sharing, the carrier actively controls when a vehicle is visible to a trusted partner.

The vehicle is manually shared from the carriers DRIP account. (How to share vehicles?)

Once a vehicle is shared with a trusted partner, it becomes immediately visible to them.

The vehicle remains visible until the carrier manually stops the sharing.

Prerequisites for Manual Vehicle Sharing:

• Both the forwarder and the carrier must have a DRIP account (Registration).

• Both the carrier and the forwarder must be set up as trusted partners. (How to accept an invitaton? How to invite Companies to DRIP ).

• A GPS is connected (How to connect a telematic system

• The relevant vehicle(s) must be transmitted from the connected GPS system to the carrier’s DRIP account. (check here:The Asset List)
