Why do I need to share vehicles after connecting my GPS?

This additional step is only required when using the tracking method “Manual Vehicle Sharing.”

With some GPS providers, the entire fleet is imported automatically after the GPS connection is completed. However, not every carrier wants all vehicles to be visible to their connected partner company.

To ensure that only the correct vehicles are shared, vehicle visibility is managed separately in our platform.

This means:

1. Connect the GPS system
   → The vehicles are imported into the platform.

2. Share the required vehicles manually
   → This defines which vehicles partner companies are allowed to see.

Only after both steps are completed will the vehicles become visible to the selected partner company.
